Human Rights

Even though people say that we are born free and equal, some people try to take others rights away and feel more empowered.Through out this term we have been learning about human rights and what they represent
to an indavidule person.During this time i have descovered that although people say that everyone is free and equal they don't alwasy live up to that.A young woman living in Afghanistan would not be intitled to her rights as a young woman,She wouldn't be able to have a job or be intitled to schooling she would be at home cooking or cleaning with her mum and waiting for her brothers and dad to come home. This is just one of the exsamples that i have chosen to use as

evedence to explain my thought.

"No one is born hating another person because of the color of their skin,  their background, or their religion. People must learn to hate, and if they can learn to hate they can be taught to love. For love comes more naturally to the human hearts than its opposite" ~ Nelson  Mandela.

  1. Well done Florence - you show that you can reflect on your learning of last term, and you demonstrate understanding of the terms "Human Rights" and "Social Justice". The next step will be to connect your ideas to the big picture to show how the ideas relate to human behaviour in general.
